Church was not a priority in my family when I was growing up. We rarely attended. Perhaps that’s why I often feel like an outsider, even though I was a pastor for nine years and trained students for pastoral ministry for 25 years. A Stranger in the House of God Podcast isn’t just about the church. It’s about life. It’s also about new life and the profound difference Jesus Christ makes for those who live as aliens and outsiders in a broken world.
