John Koessler is an award-winning author who served as the chair of the division of practical theology and church ministry at Moody Bible Institute, where he was a member of the faculty for twenty-five years. Prior to joining the Moody faculty, John served as pastor of Valley Chapel in Green Valley, Illinois for nine years. He is married to Jane, and they have two sons.
